A Content Graph is a knowledge graph that not only codifies core business domain metadata and relationships, but also manages digital content assets in the knowledge graph as "first class citizens"; video, video moments, audio, audio moments, articles, newsletters, user generated content, intelligence from other business systems, live streams and more.

The Data Language team have been using AWS cloud services since they first launched in March 2006. We set up the first use cases of AWS cloud data platforms at The BBC for BBC News and Sport, and have been working with global brands on AWS ever since.

Linked Data is a method for connecting and publishing structured data on the web, allowing it to be interlinked and easily accessible. It relies on standard web technologies such as HTTP, RDF (Resource Description Framework), and URIs (Uniform Resource Identifiers) to facilitate data integration across diverse systems.

The Data Language team members have been working on Video Key Moments since their work at the BBC on Content Graphs in 2010. Since this early work, we have been optimizing the approach and technologies around video moment innovation.
